I LOVE pumpkin! I don't even consider it a vegetable because I like it so much and it is so versatile, yet it is! Pumpkin supports heart health and along with the banana in this recipe, provides you with a lot of potassium, which can help in the treatment and prevention of high blood pressure (along with decreasing sodium intake). Also, I had to include my immersion blender in this shot because it is one of my favorite kitchen tools! It fits right into my large smoothie cup and makes blending my smoothies so easy, and keeps the cleanup quick! Servings: 1
