If you haven't met me in real life yet, or this is your first time visiting my blog and website, I want to take the time to say hi and introduce myself! While I encourage you to enjoy ALL foods, I also understand that you might have sensitivities/allergies/etc. that might prevent you from being able to enjoy it all. After years of suffering from stomach pain, intense nausea, and other intestinal related problems that I won't dive into right now, I finally discovered the root of my problem...gluten. Dairy has always been another issue for me as well, yet I can tolerate some and just try to avoid it most of the time.
All of my recipes are gluten-free and dairy-free (or include goat cheese which my body can handle a little better), yet they also can very easily be converted to include cow dairy and/or whole wheat flour in place of my substitutes. I am not recommending anyone to go gluten-free/dairy-free. If your body can handle them, then it is important to keep them in your diet! I only encourage you to pay attention to your body and see how you feel after eating certain foods. My recipes are for everyone, but are also a great place to look if you DO have any allergies. As I believe that you should enjoy ALL the food groups if you can, I also want to provide delicious alternatives for those who can't.

I believe everyone should eat balanced and not cut food groups if you don't medically need to. All foods can fit in a healthy diet. Unfortunately, I have to avoid gluten and also limit myself with dairy, so my goal is to provide healthy, gluten-free/dairy-free recipes so EVERYONE can enjoy all foods, even if you do have to cut out certain food groups. My recipes are encouraged for everyone to eat, not just for those with sensitivities/allergies! Most of my recipes can be easily converted by using real dairy and whole-wheat in place of my allergy-free substitutes.
